MARGARET RIVER BAKERY is looking for motivated and committed BARISTAS to join our team. We have a great team and a motivating working environment. Our staff turnover is low, because many of our staff like to stay with us long term!

This role involves preparing and serving espresso coffee and other hot beverages to guests in our Café.

You will be reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager and Owner.

You will be required to work some weekend days as part of your ongoing 5-day-a-week roster.

• Greeting customers and recommending menu items to enhance their experience.
• Preparing and crafting coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, and other specialty drinks.
• Grinding coffee beans and selecting blends tailored to customer preferences.
• Offering pastries/baked goods to complement beverages.
• Managing customer transactions and operating the point-of-sale system with accuracy.
• Restocking coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Washing and organising cups, glassware, and other equipment for smooth operations.
• Cleaning and maintaining coffee-making stations, espresso machines, and preparation areas to ensure hygiene and efficiency.

Qualification & experience

The right person for this position has at least 1 year of full time work experience as a BARISTA in the last 5 years. A highly relevant AQF Certificate II or III and is a bonus!
