Premier Hotel Pinjarra is looking for a talented and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in plate presentation, kitchen efficiency, and maintaining a positive team environment under pressure.
Menu Execution: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Kitchen Operations: Manage service during peak periods (lunch and dinner) to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Food Safety: Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) across all workstations.
Inventory Control: Assist with stock ordering, rotation (FIFO), and minimizing wastage to meet food cost targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Front of House team and the Head Chef/Manager to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
Training: Provide training to junior kitchen staff
Education: Diploma of Hospitality Management.
Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen (1 year at least).
Technical Skills: Proficient in various cooking techniques, knife skills, and grill/larder management.
Attributes: Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and a "can-do" attitude.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (plus superannuation), depending on experience and skill level.
