About the role

Bellevue Building is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic 1st year apprentice carpenter to join our team in Dee Why, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your carpentry skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.

What you'll be doing

• Assist experienced carpenters with a variety of construction tasks, including framing, siding, roofing, and finishing work

• Develop skills in the use of hand and power tools

• Participate in on-the-job training and attend off-site vocational training as required

• Maintain a clean and organised worksite

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Interest and passion for a career in carpentry and building

• Must have drivers license

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks

• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
