The Opportunity
Gorilla Bricklaying Group PTY LTD is seeking a motivated and hardworking 1st/2nd/3rd year apprentice bricklayer to join our team. This is a full-time role with opportunities for growth and development within our thriving organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting experienced bricklayers with the construction and repair of various masonry structures
Mixing mortar and other materials as required
Laying bricks, blocks and other masonry materials to specifications
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Participating in on-the-job training and completing apprenticeship requirements
What We're Looking For
Enrolment in a recognised bricklaying apprenticeship program
Some prior experience in the construction industry or a keen interest in bricklaying
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to specifications
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to workplace health and safety
