We are looking for interns in the following areas of our IT Department:
Application Support provide innovative, secure, and feature-rich products that empower users, streamline operations, and drive Ashurst's success through exceptional technical support and continuously evolving enterprise systems. End-User Computing Engineer - manages devices, supports collaboration tools, maintains productivity applications, ensures secure remote access, and enhances the digital workplace for a seamless user experience. Service Delivery provide technical support and manage IT service requests to ensure efficient and effective resolution of user issues. Infrastructure involves managing servers and networks, including building and troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers, configuring and troubleshooting network devices and services, and collaborating with other IT teams to maintain operational environments. Security Analyst Cloud Engineer M365 Engineer - designs, implements, administers, supports, documents, and collaborates on Microsoft 365 solutions to meet business requirements and ensure a secure and efficient environment.

Students must be in their final year of an IT degree to be eligible. You also need to have Australian and New Zealand citizenship or be an Australiana permanent resident at the time of application.

The aim of our Internship is to expose you to as much real work as possible, to help you to make an informed decision about whether the Ashurst 2026 IT Graduate Program is the right opportunity for you. Offers for the 2026 Graduate program will be made at the end of the internship.
But it's not all work! There's also a chance to get involved in understanding the different areas of IT and Legal practices through workshops, team-building events to understand how we work together, and social events to get to know our teams away from the bustle of daily life.
The internship program will run from Monday, 16 June through to Friday, 11 July on a fixed term, full time basis. In addition to gaining valuable experience, working as an Intern presents an opportunity for you to join our Graduate Program. We offer most of our graduate roles to people who have completed an internship in one of our offices.
Ashurst 2026 IT Graduate Program
If you secure a role in the Ashurst 2026 IT Graduate Program, you will be part of a team that is involved in running the firm's technology and delivering programs and IT projects from beginning to end. The programs are closely tied to the strategic direction of the firm, as well as the policies and initiatives that are influenced and shaped by the change drivers.
