About us

LOKWOOD is a Christian lead, carpentry construction company based in North Sydney.

We are currently looking for a new long term member. We will build your career in carpentry/ construction and together growing our business with like minded people with a great working team environment.

Must have:

  • Must have Good work ethics, attitude and values. (Preferably has Christian/ Catholic faith).

  • Work etiquette, personal professional presentation, such as no swearing at our worksites, on time, honest and genuine work attitude.

  • Care for all stakeholders and able to represent the company.

  • Accountable, reliable, be on time to work, motivated.

  • Flexible skills between commercial and residential works.

Type of works:

  • Commercial carpentry (Schools, Hospitals, Commercials and Public works).

  • Large scale timber installations, temporary works.

  • Residential renovations, age care works.

  • Finish carpentry, landscape works.

  • Asset and reactive service maintenance.

 

With this role, you will be completing a carpenter apprenticeship with the goal of transitioning into tradesman or a supervision/ managerial role with the business in the long run.

Prerequisite & experience

  • White Card.  

  • Australian drivers license.

  • Own hand tools and tool belt (all power tools are provided by LOKWOOD).

  • Own transport - Vehicle to be able to carry company tools.

  • Own transport - Occasional material pick ups. (preferable to have a Ute)

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • For this role, you will be responsible for general carpentry and construction support for residential and commercial construction works.

  • General tasks such as assist in construction of all aspects of commercial carpentry, residential kitchen and bathroom renovations works, general site maintenance, demolition works, site maintenance etc.

  • Normal business hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm with break.
