Position Overview

• 2nd Year Apprenticeship workshop tasks and duties.
• Working on the companies range of mobile construction and earthmoving equipment.
• Fault diagnosis utilizing onboard diagnostic systems and working with electrically-controlled hydraulic-systems.
• Servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel-powered heavy-duty equipment.
• Changing-out parts and components.
• Working with diesel engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Working with and learning specialized construction equipment.
• Working to safety and company systems and protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• 2nd-year Cert III Plant Mechanic.
• 2nd-year knowledge and experience working on mobile plant or similar diesel-powered equipment. 
• An honest worker with good work ethic and helpful attitude.
• Mechanically minded, a passion for machinery with interest in learning new equipment, systems and technical skills.
• Drivers license, HR highly regarded but not essential.
• Someone who wants a long-term role where they can grow and develop their mechanical and technical abilities. 
• Someone with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Australian Citizen, Resident or PR is a must.
