Specialising in both insurance and non-insurance building and restoration repairs across Australia, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile invoices, payments, and bank statements using MYOB and Xero.
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements.
Maintain vendor and client records, ensuring details are up-to-date.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Generate financial reports as needed.
Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve account discrepancies.
Support the finance team with other administrative and clerical duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general accounts
Proficient with either MYOB and Xero an advantage
Diploma in Accounting or related qualification highly regarded
Strong intermediate Excel skills
Great attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
Experience closing off end of month and ensuring all accounts are reconciled
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Must have a valid National Police Clearance.
