A new and exciting opportunity has come up for an Internal Accountant [Accountant (General)] with particular focus on NDIS management with immediate start. Reporting to top management, the position requires at least 2 years of relevant experience preferably in an NDIS setting. The role requires a mature and enthusiastic work attitude and should have a commitment for long-term employment.
Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 plus Super depending on experience

Task & Responsibilities
As Internal Accountant, your duties will include:
NDIS Accounting Special Tasks:
- Responsible for NDIS Auditing compliance and NDIS compliance and competence
- Assist in the formulation of budgetary and financial policies of the NDIS facility
- Understand and comply with all regulations within the NDIS scope
- Meet taxation obligations and ensure all responsibilities of the company
- Manage cash flow and financial situation for the NDIS business
- Manage the invoicing process
- Assist with the NDIS price guide
- Knowledge and understanding of an NDIS Plan
- Budgetary considerations involved in an NDIS Plan
- Liaising with NDIS participants and plan managers to gather information required
- Invoicing
- Reporting and automations in hubspot, stripe, xero
- NDIS follow up, NDIS systems and requirements

Qualification & Experience
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting
- 2 years' general Accounting experience
- 1 year payroll experience, including experience with Modern Awards (highly desirable)
- Experience working with the NDIS claims is essential
- NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia & current driver's license
- Intermediate skills in in MYOB and proficiency with MS Office 365, including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Sound knowledge of end-to-end Payroll processes for Award and rostered workforce
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proven time management, organisational skills, and record meeting deadlines
- Process orientated, with high attention to detail and an analytical mindset
- Proactive, agile and solution focused
