We are looking for Accountants to join our team and progress their career. The role would suit qualified professionals with experience in accounting and financial reporting.

About You

You are a qualified or nearly qualified Chartered Accountant  or Certified Practicing Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.  You are a trusted advisor to your clients and have strong communication and relationship building skills.  You are eager to learn and take the lead in an ever-changing landscape. You are known for your project management skills and have experience with a variety of industries.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Independently manages a division of the firm or substantial fee base 
  • Manage team members on client assignments 
  • Able to independently and proactively complete all tax and compliance work with no supervision and no review required. 
  • Frequently adds value to clients by identifying value added opportunities. Proactively engages clients on these tasks 
  • Introduces new fees to the firm. Active participant in pitching / quoting for new work. 
  • Excellent technical skill and understanding of compliance and regulations 
  • High proficiency in using software packages (iFirm, MYOB, Xero) 
  • Proven ability to independently maintain client relations 
  • Reviews work provided by the team 
  • Works with the team to increase their skill and capabilities. 
  • Active participant in staff training 
  • Involved in staff appraisals and provides feedback of staff performance.

Qualifications & experience

  • CA qualifications (or similar) 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in professional services
