Key Responsibilities:

Full month-end accounting - P&L, accruals, prepayments, variance analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations, cheque processing
General ledger maintenance and journal entries
Allocating payments to debtor accounts, issuing refunds, and confirming invoice settlements
Assist with year-end reporting
Respond to internal and external stakeholder queries
Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements

Skills & Experience required:

2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally in high-volume environments
Previous exposure to month-end processes
Experience using MYOB Advanced (highly regarded)
Strong Excel skills - vlookups and pivot tables
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management
Proactive attitude - switched-on, eager to learn, and take initiative
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, energetic environment
Happy to commit to 5 days working in the office to receive full onsite training and take the next step in career
