Accountant / Finance Manager - Property

This first class opportunity will see you join a rapidly expanding national group in a newly created position with significant scope for the future.  Reporting to the Managing Director of this top Australian business with operations nationally, you'll be hands-on in the management of all financial and management accounts for both the group and it's clients, decreasing the reliance on external advisors.

What you'll do:

• Management of all group accounts
• Preparation of financial statements
• Monthly management reports, cash-flow and forecasting
• Preparation of monthly accounts for clients
• Quarterly BAS for clients in conjunction with external Accountant
• Oversee outgoings and capex budgets
• Group and property finance
• Trust accounting matters

• Ideally you'll be professionally qualified (CPA/CA or similar) but at the minimum you will have completed an accounting degree and have comprehensive, relevant experience
• You will enjoy working on a hands-on, self-directed basis, be systems savvy and preferably be competent with Xero
• Prior exposure to accounting for the commercial property sector will allow you to hit the ground running, whether this is from within a property or asset management environment or as an Accountant in professional practice
