About the Opportunity
Join our supportive and dynamic finance team at APP as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Reporting to the Accountant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments. This position is perfect for someone who values collaboration and is passionate about making a difference.
Your responsibilities will include:
Invoice Processing: Efficiently process invoices with a high accuracy rate.
Supplier Management: Resolve supplier queries promptly and maintain excellent relationships.
Payment Processing: Ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Reconciliation & Reporting: Maintain error-free bank reconciliations.
Compliance: Adhere to internal controls and procedures.
What we’re looking for
Strong understanding of AP processes, general ledger, and taxation.
Accuracy in data entry and error detection.
Familiarity with ERP systems, Excel, and AP automation tools.
Effective communication with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preparedness for audits and adherence to regulations.
Cert IV in Accounts/Finance/Business or Bachelor’s degree (advantageous).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
