A leading multinational, industrial and facilities maintenance business is looking for an Accounts Receivable / Billings Officer on a 3-month contract to start immediately and help the organisation through a critical stage of the business.

This role will be heavily involved with processing invoices, uploading Purchase Orders and using critical thinking and problem solving skills.

The duties of the role will include:
  • Review of invoices / Purchase Orders that have been rejected by customers due to various reasons
  • Reach out to internal stakeholders (primarily technicians) to understand the reason for the customer rejections and problem solve the solutions 
  • Once solutions are determined, re-submit the invoices to customers with back-up documentation to ensure payment is received
  • Deal with large volumes of small invoices/PO's that have been rejected and need to be re-submitted to the customer for payment
  • Highly transactional role with a large volume of backlog issues
The ideal candidate for this role will be:
  • Experience working as an Accounts Receivable / Billings officer or a Claims Assessor in a high-volume environment; this business has thousands of small $ value invoices that need to be processed monthly
  • Strong systems background, ability to work in AR/billings systems as well as PO and Work Order Management systems
  • Experience in infrastructure / facilities maintenance / construction / engineering industries highly regarded
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Critical is that you have problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be highly organised
