We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Group Operations Finance team. In this operational role, you will be responsible for supporting the invoice-to-cash process, including tracking and recording customer payments, generating invoices, and managing customer accounts. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to other finance tasks, providing variety and growth in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily bank reconciliations and associated cash allocation
  • Prepare and issue invoicing based upon accounting procedures
  • Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries and discrepancies
  • Prepare and publish monthly debtors reporting and debtors ratios
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for support
  • Provide accounting support to senior finance staff for invoice-to-cash transactions
  • Develop and implement process improvements
    
What You’ll Need to Succeed:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • CA/CPA qualified or actively pursuing certification (desirable)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Independent, adaptable, and focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise and make decisions within appropriate delegations.
