Accounts Receivable Officer - Hair Industry

Leading Haircare Company requires an experienced Accounts Receivable to join their Accounts team.Hairjamm is a family-owned company based in Banyo that distributes its own haircare brands – Juuce, Pure and Fix. Hairjamm is also the exclusive Australian distributor of the Italian haircare brand Davines. We are looking to employ an Accounts Receivable Officer on a Part Time basis; we will be open to negotiate flexible work options ie. School Hours (5x Days) and/or Part Time (3x Full Days) for the right candidate. The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for making collections, allocating debtor payments, maintaining customer accounts, resolving account queries, and checking of orders prior to release. The Role:Managing a portfolio of interstate debtors your key responsibilities in the role include: · Working with customers to resolve outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans.· Handle and resolve account queries.· Recommend actions for the creation of customer accounts, apply credit limits & releasing orders on hold.· Provide exceptional customer service & build strong relationships with Customers & Sales Agents by exercising empathy & understanding You will work as part of the Accounts Receivable team and take responsibility for the below:· Inbound / outbound calls to collect and negotiate payments on overdue accounts.· Allocation and receipt of Credit Card payments received.· Reconciliation of daily banking statements for transactions, posting transactions to customer accounts.· Provide monthly reporting & maintaining debtor reports.· Manage a shared email inbox.
