THE ROLE
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved. Previous experience within a high-volume retail environment would be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities Include
End to End ownership of debtor’s ledgerCash Receipting and Allocation of paymentsReconciliation of customer accountsLiaising with internal and external customers with regards to account queriesCreation of new Debtor Master FilesProcessing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)Previous experience in Great Plains or Similar ERP systems will be highly regarded.Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel eg. VlookupStrong numerical skillsHighly organized, good time management and prioritization skillsStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyEffective communication skills, both written and verbalProven skills using your initiative and being proactiveWell-rounded skills working effectively within a team, whilst being able to work independently when required.
