Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Brisbane team, ensuring the accurate processing of payments and reconciliations across our Australian and New Zealand markets.

Working Environment

• Office-based role in Yatala, working closely with internal finance, operations, and customer service teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and record payments for asset transactions across multiple RB Global channels.

• Prepare daily bank reconciliations and investigate banking discrepancies.

• Upload auction transactions and reconcile sales day payments.

• Manage post-sale adjustments, including deducts, price adjustments, collapses, and sales tax corrections.

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.

• Process refunds for overpayments, bid deposits, and post-sale adjustments.

• Support collections efforts for outstanding buyer payments and reconcile customer accounts.

• Create invoices for customers, consignors, and inter-company transactions.

• Assist with month-end closing and reporting.

• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in an office-based finance or accounting role.

• Experience in Accounts Receivable is an advantage.

• Strong ERP system experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
