Looking for a dynamic and supportive part-time opportunity in local government? Join our friendly and collaborative team as an Admin and Data Officer, where you’ll help keep things running smoothly and play a vital role in supporting our Information and Data Services Group.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person, responding to general enquiries and requests.

  • Maintain and update council records, databases, and document management systems with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Prepare, proofread, and process correspondence and documentation in line with organisational standards.

  • Assist with administrative tasks including purchase orders, invoice processing, and group email monitoring.

  • Support internal teams with system development tasks, including process documentation and testing.

About you
  • Proven administrative experience and sound understanding of office systems and procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for customer service.

  • Highly organised, with great time management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Confident using digital tools and systems to support your work and collaborate with others.

  • A flexible, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to contribute where needed.

What we offer you
  • Base hourly rate between $38.50 and $44.48 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 11.5% superannuation

  • Fixed term: 6-month contract/part-time: 18.75 hours per week

  • Work pattern negotiable
