About the Role
H People are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer and coatings provider located in Campbellfield. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a proactive and detail oriented individual to join a collaborative team in a dual Customer Service and Operations Administration role.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Answer and direct phone enquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Welcome customers and visitors on-site
- Perform accurate data entry for QA certificates
- Verify and prepare orders for dispatch
- Coordinate freight and resolve delivery issues
- Identify and rectify documentation errors prior to invoicing
- Process credits, reworks, and customer feedback forms
Operations
- Manage monthly stocktakes and inventory replenishment
- Coordinate product sampling and testing requirements
- Maintain and update operational registers
Health and Safety
- Conduct site inductions for visitors and contractors
- Actively promote and support safe work practices on-site
- Exercise Stop Work Authority when necessary to uphold safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in customer service and/or operational administration
- Background in steel, fabrication, or manufacturing industries preferred but no essential
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems such as QAD or VCCMax is highly regarded
