Aged Care & Disability Support Worker

Role Purpose

As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and provide emotional and physical support tailored to their needs under the Aged Care and NDIS frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (e.g., showering, grooming, toileting)
• Support clients in daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
• Facilitate community access and social inclusion activities
• Provide companionship and build positive, trusting relationships
• Monitor and report on changes in clients’ health and wellbeing
• Promote and uphold the client’s dignity, rights, and independence
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation
• Adhere to all relevant NDIS Practice Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards, and policies

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with older people and individuals with disabilities
• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or similar)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (as per government requirements)
• Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of person-centred care principles
