Aged Care Service Manager

The Role:

As the Service Manager, you will be at the forefront of our residential aged care home, driving performance and implementing innovative practices. You will oversee business units to ensure a well-performing service that prioritises the well-being of our residents. This role does not require a Registered Nurse (R.N.), but rather a leader with a strong focus on:

• People Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing care team. Foster a positive and collaborative environment that promotes residents' well-being.

• Business Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Develop and implement service standards and procedures tailored to aged care.

• Team Development: Identify training and development needs within the team and provide growth opportunities. Conduct periodic appraisals and identify areas for improvement.

• Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

• Quality Systems: Demonstrated knowledge of and operational application of quality systems. Monitor and evaluate service delivery to ensure compliance with standards and our mission.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential aged care or similar service-oriented environment.

• Strong business management skills with the ability to oversee daily operations and implement service standards for aged care.

• Demonstrated experience in building and supporting team environments.

• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on maintaining strong relationships with residents and their families.

• Knowledge of quality systems implementation and compliance with aged care standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
