We're on the lookout for committed individuals like yourself, eager to create genuine impact! We're hiring casual Direct Support Workers to assist our Aged Care clients residing across Redland Bay, Victoria Point, Wynnum and surrounding suburbs!
Your contribution:
- Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing and personal hygiene
- Administering medications
- Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation
- Assisting clients between 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Community engagement, such as attending doctors’ appointments, grocery shopping or other social or recreational activities of their choice
- Enhance lives of clients by developing strong rapport based on empathy and compassion
About you:
- Looking for a change from aged care facilities and have the opportunity to build one to one rapport with your aged care clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are even better listeners who can work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment
- Calm and confident in all different environments and understand the importance of professional boundaries
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care is highly desirable
- Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
- Believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage
- Variety of shifts available Monday to Friday
- Have the capacity to travel to clients homes

Before you commence, you will need:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
- Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed
- It is mandatory to have an Australian Open Drivers License and full comprehensive car insurance.
- Have your own vehicle to attend shifts
- A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
