Agile Delivery Manager / Release Train Engineer (Agile Environment)

We’re hiring a full-time, permanent Agile Delivery Manager / Release Train Engineer to lead the delivery of multiple large-scale agile IT initiatives, with combined budgets totalling several million dollars annually. You’ll be working across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and experience.
While experience as a Release Train Engineer is highly regarded, this is also a career growth opportunity. If you bring strong leadership, coordination, and agile delivery expertise, training and development will be provided to help you thrive in the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and lead Agile Release Train (ART) events and planning, including PI PlanningDrive cross-team alignment and ensure delivery is progressing against strategic goalsCoach agile methods to ART leaders, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and delivery teamsManage dependencies and risks across teams and ARTsLead and mentor a team of Agile Project Managers and Scrum MastersWork closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure priorities are alignedChampion SAFe practices and foster a culture of continuous improvementSupport platform strategy and delivery through an enterprise lens
What We’re Looking ForProven experience in agile delivery roles, ideally within large, complex environmentsExperience leading Agile teams and managing ARTsSAFe certification (RTE or SPC) is desirable but not essential.Background in enterprise platforms, DevOps practices, and digital transformationStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience within a university or research environment will be highly regarded
