About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the interdisciplinary ambulatory team at the Community Rehabilitation Program, Angliss Hospital.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide a flexible and responsive client centred service. You will provide therapy support services to individual or groups under the delegation and supervision of an Allied Health Professional. You will play a key role in the delivery of allied health services across Community Rehabilitation Program. Effective communication skills and an interest in rehabilitation, group therapy programs & hydrotherapy are essential in this role.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Completion of Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistant) from a registered training organisation, or recognised equivalent is essential.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with can-do attitude
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team and take direction from the team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
