Townsville Community Fall Service, is a team of allied health aiming to optimise function of the Townsville Community who have had or are at risk of a fall event. The service is a seven-day service providing rapid assessment and interventions to Townsville residents within their home environments.

An opportunity has arisen to join their service as an Allied Health Falls Co-Responder on a casual. The purpose of this role is to deliver physiotherapy / occupational therapy services within the QAS Falls Co-Response Program and Townsville Community Falls Team.

Vacancy: Casual (Multiple positions available) 

Location: Townsville Community Health / Kirwan Ambulance Station

Enjoy a Generous Casual Rate of: $80.80 - $86.94 p.h. (HP4) Plus

Requirements:

  • Possession of a tertiary degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) or as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) is a requirement for this role.
  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration of membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
