Appliance Technician - WHITE GOODS - Fridges & Washing Machines Appliances

The Video Factory currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced  White Goods Service Technician to join our team servicing the Brisbane area on a full-time permanent basis.

Whilst this role is Monday to Friday it does require some flexibility. This position requires a highly motivated, self-confident individual of the highest integrity who possesses a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities, and has a passion for customer service.

Your responsibilities would include:

Attend service calls on consumer appliances as per daily run sheet

Carry out quality field service repairs at the customer’s premises or in the workshop

Provide complete technical support as well as usage and maintenance advice to customers as required.

Ensure all appliance, repair information and parts usage are documented

Managing of van stock and appearance of company vehicles

Complete all administrative duties

Handling of escalations and on-site technical information for resolution team.

Ensure all OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to and proactively support them.

To be considered for this position you will demonstrate the following capabilities.

Essential

Current Restricted Electrical License

Excellent electrical and mechanical aptitude

Current Australian Driver’s License

Exceptional communication skills

Customer focused with excellent interaction skills

Good administrative skills and proficient with Microsoft Office

Desirable

Refrigeration qualifications (ARTIK)

Certificate III - Appliance Servicing Certificate

Minimum of 2 years experience in appliance repairs
