About the role

RMS Heating Cooling is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team in Ringwood East, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will provide you with the opportunity to develop valuable skills and experience in the building trades industry.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting experienced tradespeople with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Learning how to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
• Developing practical skills in the use of tools and equipment
• Participating in on-the-job training and attending vocational classes to obtain your trade qualification
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

• A strong interest and passion for the building trades industry
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A willingness to learn and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship
