Large Sprinkler Company in Southeast Queensland is looking for an Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Fitter. We specialise in fire protection system design and installation with major & minor construction projects.
A Certificate III in Fire Protection will provide the knowledge and skills to:
• Read plans and calculate quantities
• Use plumbing hand & power tools
• Fabricate and install fire sprinkler systems, fire hydrant & hose reel systems
• Fit domestic and residential safety sprinkler systems
• Test and maintain fire systems
• Complete work on small and large water services
• Weld with oxy-acetylene
• Install control valve systems
• Activate devices and local alarms
• Install special hazard systems
• Conduct functional water-flow testing
• Design pre-calculated fire sprinkler systems
• Prevent ozone depleting substances and synthetic greenhouse gas emissions
Requirements
Must attend Trade College for a period of 4 years to become a qualified Sprinkler Fitter.
Construction white card is required before starting.
Full time position, immediate start available.
Must be prepared to work within a team environment.
Office is based in Loganholme, but you will be required to work within the Southeast Queensland Region.
Second year apprentice acceptable.
EBA Agreement.
