JOB DESCRIPTION

Achieve a Certificate in Horticulture Parks and Gardens while loving where you work, with the Native Space Maintenance Team.

Reporting to your Team Leader your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain newly developed streetscapes, state of the art designed parks, existing housing & commercial estates.

• Roles included but not limited to Ride on mowing & lawn detailing, weed control & eradication, tree & garden bed maintenance, mulching, planting, watering

• Following & understanding maintenance schedules, plant care and plant nutrition

• Pest and disease management

·         Deliver high quality work while adhering to project timelines in a safe manner

• Be guided by a qualified and experienced team member and mentor

 What are we looking for?

• Some experience in commercial landscape construction, grounds maintenance and gardening

• Be physically fit and have the ability work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual and have excellent time management skills and be a self-starter and above all of these attributes is the right attitude

• Mechanically minded with a passion for horticulture, ground maintenance and gardening or turf management

• Current manual Drivers Licence (MR or HR preferred)

• White Card – Construction Industry Card

• Plant tickets for - Skid steer, Small Excavators, HR licence is advantageous
