The Position:

Our company requires a permanent full time Apprentice Painter to join our team.

Job Tasks and responsibilities

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in

• Preparing and treating surfaces by sanding, scraping, filling gaps, and sealing to ensure a smooth and durable finish.

• Mixing and selecting appropriate paint colours and finishes to meet project specifications.

• Applying paint, stains, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

• Setting up work areas, including erecting ladders and protective coverings to safeguard surroundings.

• Cleaning tools, equipment, and workspaces after project completion.

• Assisting maintenance department when required.

 Strong attention to detail in all tasks.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

• Be punctual to work

• Passionate and enthusiastic attitude towards the workplace.

• Motivation to succeed and a willingness to learn

• Ability to follow direction with excellent attention to detail

• The ability to listen and understand customer and company requirements

• Commitment to building a long term career

• Must have own reliable transport

• White card preferred
