​​As part of the Learning and Development team, you will contribute directly to Treasury’s broad range of L&D outcomes, using your HR skills and experience to advance the suite of systems and programs. 

You will join a passionate and connected Branch that supports innovation, new ways of thinking and new technology to get the best outcomes for the organisation. 

​The Entry Level Development team manages the Treasury’s entry level programs including the Graduate Development Program. The team is responsible for learning and development, procurement, program administration and activities, induction, pastoral care, and assisting in performance matters. 

​Key responsibilities of the opportunity are detailed below (but not limited to): 

  • ​Work under limited direction with the EL1 in the team. 
  • ​Be the main point of contact for graduates and other entry level participants. Some queries may be sensitive in nature and need to be managed diligently and involving the appropriate team in People and Organisational Strategy Branch where required. 
  • ​Facilitate operational, strategic and project work across different programs, including the graduate program and various graduate streams, school leaver program, interns, and First Nations programs. 
  • ​Manage and oversee key Graduate Development Program events including induction, learning and development, networking events, and pastoral care. 
  • ​Be a key contact for external learning and development providers, arranging training, workshop design and coordination. 
  • ​Update processes, guidelines, SOPs, and information as required. 
  • ​Organise the Entry Level Development Program calendar for the calendar year. 
  • ​Assist with daily BAU and organisational management. 
  • ​Event management for graduates and entry level participants. 

This recruitment process is being used to fill an ongoing position. A merit pool may be established to fill future ongoing or non-ongoing, should they become available within 18 months from the date advertised. 

Desirable Qualifications / Experience 

​​You will be able to demonstrate: 

  • ​Experience delivering bespoke recruitment outcomes and/or program management, particularly in the Graduate and entry level recruitment space.  
  • ​Experience in other HR disciplines is highly regarded. ​
