I am partnered with a Federal Government Agency in Geelong to recruit an APS2 Property Administration Assistant for a full-time temporary assignment for a 12 month contract, with a high likelihood of an extension. Your new role The APS2 Property Administration Assistant is responsible for undertaking a broad range of straightforward procedural, clerical, administrative support, and operational tasks under routine direction.

This role follows established procedures and guidance to ensure efficient and effective support within the team. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain stationery supplies, including pens, notebooks, and photocopying paper.

Stock utility rooms and ensure sufficient office consumables and supplies are available. Assist staff with property-related issues, such as lockers, kitchen amenities, and office furniture, by reporting problems to the Property Officer. Set up meeting rooms, ensuring neat presentation, sufficient chairs, clear access, and availability of drinking water with glasses.

Accept and distribute parcels and mail, including security passes, ICT equipment, and business documents to staff on site. Maintain storerooms, meeting rooms, and utility rooms, ensuring clean and clear access, and tidy desks and other areas not in use. Keep the kitchen tidy, including running and emptying the dishwasher.

Liaise with and escort vendors visiting the site. Travel to other offices as required to perform Property Administration Assistant responsibilities. What you'll need to succeed

To be successful as an APS2 Property Administration Assistant, you will demonstrate: Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work effectively within a team and under routine direction.

Ability to travel to other offices as required Must be an Australian Citizen All applicants selected for an interview will be required to provide two supporting references before the interview.
