APS6 or EL1 Scrum Master (Non-Ongoing)

Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Scrum Master (APS6 or EL1 Level). This is a fixed-term engagement for 12 months with the possibility of a 6-month extension, located at our client’s offices in Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne, with flexible working arrangements available. Please be aware that offers to all successful candidates will be made at the base salary rate for the applicable APS/EL level (ie $95,714 for APS6 & $117,593 for the EL1 level) . As The Selected Candidate, You Will Manage all Agile aspects of the assigned work area Lead and coordinate key Agile workshops/ceremonies to enable project success Facilitate the removal of blockers that hinder team progress Support continuous improvement of Ways of Working to enhance outcomes and satisfaction In complex initiatives, facilitate the design and implementation of scaled Agile practices across multiple teams Foster strong, collaborative working relationships with clients and stakeholders Contribute to building Agile capability within the organisation through active participation in peer networks To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have (APS6 Level) Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an enterprise environment Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills Qualifications in a relevant Agile methodology Ability to coach and mentor team members in Agile practices (EL1 Level) Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in large, complex enterprise projects Proven expertise in implementing and managing scaled Agile practices It Is Desirable If You Have Experience using JIRA and JIRA Portfolio Background in ICT disciplines such as business analysis, development, or release management Experience working with cloud services or machine learning Familiarity with Agile delivery in a government or Census-related environment Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline clearance.
