This role provides assistance and support to the Arts & Place team to ensure operational requirements and targets are achieved. This position’s focus is to assist the Coordinator Arts & Place and Senior Arts & Place Officer in the implementation of Arts and Place activities and initiatives.
The role will assist in the preparation of risk management plans, event access and inclusion checklists, event run sheets and any other relevant documentation required for community events and other Arts & Place activations.
You will provide back-up and support to the Arts & Place Section in the planning and delivery of community events and activations; and arts and culture programs including the City’s Annual Art Awards.
About you:
You will have well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and groups. If you have relevant experience working within events management, design work and or public relations, we’d like to hear from you. If you have been involved in the planning and delivery of community events, place activities and or arts and/or cultural activities and now seeking a new challenge, this could be your next opportunity.
