In this role, you'll:



Transport for NSW is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that asset strategies optimize safety, reliability, and network capacity while minimizing life cycle costs.


This role involves overseeing technical assurance frameworks, work program delivery, regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in asset performance, safety, and governance.



Key responsibilties:



Manage the implementation of technical assurance frameworks to meet business, legislative, and regulatory requirements, ensuring clear communication on asset performance and compliance.



Monitor and manage the delivery of work programs outlined in the Asset and Services Plans (ASPs) to ensure that all requirements are met, and desired outcomes are achieved.



Lead technical problem-solving efforts to meet regulatory, accreditation, and contract performance obligations, ensuring timely resolution of issues.



Provide timely and informed decision-making on asset management, governance, planning, and assurance-related matters, in alignment with Transport’s requirements.

About you



Demonstrated experience in managing asset strategies.



Strong knowledge of legislative requirements, technical standards, and frameworks for ensuring compliance and performance across asset management functions.



Essential Requirements



A four-year engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.



Demonstrated achievement in Certified Associate in Asset Management competencies, or equivalent professional certification.


Bus experience is highly desirable.
