Tasks & responsibilities

  • Execute Trade Marketing Activities and Campaigns: Implement and manage trade marketing initiatives to promote brand visibility and sales.
  • Execute Trade Events: Organize and support trade events, including expos and healthcare professional events, in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Merchandise and Point-of-Sale Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of merchandise and point-of-sale materials to enhance brand presence.
  • Support Marketing and Sales Functions: Assist in distributor marketing campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal teams such as sales, operations, and finance to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities and promotions.
  • Organize Supplier Relationships: Manage relationships with suppliers for trade materials and collaborate with design agencies as directed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Support Labelling and Packing Projects: Assist in label design, ensure GS1 compliance, and manage prescription and dispensing software.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends with channel partners and communicate insights to the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all brands comply with regulations from the Therapeutic Goods Agency (TGA), Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Office of Drug Control (ODC), and internal corporate policies.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as required to support the marketing team.

Qualifications & experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of trade marketing strategies and brand management principles.
    • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct market analysis and interpret data to provide actionable insights.
    • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing marketing materials and ensuring compliance.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing software, GS1 compliance, and prescription and dispensing software.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements from agencies such as the Therapeutic Goods Agency (TGA), Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Office of Drug Control (ODC).
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
