Position Objective - As an Assistant Manager, you will undertake a variety of tasks for both internal and external clients, providing excellent care and support. You will work closely with Managers and Directors to deliver high-quality business advisory, tax planning, accounting, and compliance services. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Expertise - Provide advice on business advisory, tax planning, accounting, and compliance. Specific areas include tax structuring, small business concessions, superannuation, GST, FBT, and CGT advice.Productivity and Planning - Meet agreed targets for tasks and productivity budgets, maintain WIP and billings, and contribute to the coordination of work flow.Client Service - Engage with clients, market the firm's services, and uphold professional commitment to all clients.Innovation -Generate creative solutions to work-related issues.Learning and Development - Undertake professional development and provide learning to other staff.Information Technology - Utilise and improve knowledge of relevant software and information management systems.Supervision and Mentoring - Supervise and mentor junior staff, and work with the leadership team.Networking - Build networks through attendance at business and professional events. Experience & QualificationsFull professional membership with the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) or CPA Australia.Minimum 5 years’ experience within public practice.Leadership and people management expertise.Excellent knowledge of Australian legislative and regulatory requirements.Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related field at post-graduate level.Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills.Proactive, solutions-driven, and able to work independently.
