Responsibilities

Are you ready to take the next step in your retail career? We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join a thriving and rapidly expanding retailer. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be a key player in supporting the Store Manager and leading a team to achieve outstanding success!

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example to create a customer-centric culture and ensure an exceptional in-store experience
  • Drive team development, focusing on achieving financial sales, profit, and productivity targets
  • Take charge of Visual Merchandising, transforming the store into an inviting space that enhances the shopping experience
  • Manage store rostering and wage expenses with a sharp focus on commercial acumen
  • Handle stock management (up to 15kg) in a fast-paced environment, ensuring everything is organised and ready for customers
  • Track store performance and share insights with the team and senior management, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and Talent Acquisition team to recruit dedicated retail professionals

Your Profile

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, or Full-time Retail Leader
  • A passion for retail and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong financial skills, with experience in managing budgets, interpreting reports, and creating efficient rosters
  • Operational excellence, including stock control and an eye for visual merchandising
  • A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and motivates others to succeed
