Associate – Private Credit & Special Situations

Our client is a leading APAC-focused Credit Fund specialising in highly structured and complex transactions across Asia and Australia, with multiple billions under management. Their investment strategy focuses on the mid-market, with a deal portfolio spanning across multiple sectors. Based in Sydney as part of the APAC fund, they are seeking an Associate to join their Investment team. In this role, you will support the origination and execution of new investment opportunities, manage existing portfolios, develop financial models, provide in-depth financial analysis, structuring and building & maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and industry professionals. This is a strong opportunity to join a flat, hedge fund structure where all investment team members have a high level of independence and the ability to add value across the deal lifecycle. Tertiary qualified in Business, Finance, Economics or related, you will have 3-5 years of experience gained within debt/equity investments or M&A, Restructuring or Leveraged Finance teams of a global investment bank. It is expected you will have demonstrated debt and/or equity structuring experience, strong financial modelling skills, a hands on approach with attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
