Position Highlights We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our Claims Contact Centre as Part-Time Auto Claims Specialist I. In this impactful role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers reporting claims to ICBC. Your empathy and excellent communication skills will be key in supporting customers as they navigate the claims process. You’ll handle tasks such as initiating claim files, gathering first notice of loss information, and resolving straightforward claims at first contact—or directing them to the appropriate team for further assistance. Position Requirements Minimum of 2 years of proven customer service experience in industries such as call centers, insurance, phone/internet providers, financial services, or similar fieldsA genuine passion for helping others and building strong, trusted customer relationshipsComfort handling emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and professionalismStrong verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers via phone and emailExcellent multitasking, time management, and adaptability in a dynamic environmentConfident promoting company products and services with a positive, professional attitudeMinimum typing speed: 35 WPM with 90% accuracyMinimum data entry speed: 5500 keystrokes/hour with 95% accuracyAbility to score 75% or higher on a Call Centre Listening EvaluationThrive in a fast-paced, high-volume settingPrevious call centre experience is a plusA valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record Shift Availability Our contact centre operates 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday. We assign shifts based on business needs, so flexibility with scheduling is important.
