Westfill is a specialised underground mining contractor and service provider based in Western Australia, with decades of boots-on-the-ground experience and practical knowledge to provide quality personnel, products and operational contract services into the underground mining industry. 

We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electrician to fill multiple vacancies with our highly regarded owner operator client on a FIFO/DIDO 7:7 Roster.

Responsibilities:

As a Auto Electrician at Westfill, you will play a pivotal role. Your responsibilities will include:

• Proven experience with a broad range of heavy equipment, including Sandvik, CAT, Volvo Integrated Toolcarriers (IT's), Atlas Copco Trucks, and light vehicles (LV's). Capable of performing comprehensive breakdown assessments, component replacements, and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work independently in demanding environments, managing repairs and diagnostics without direct supervision. Skilled in prioritising tasks and ensuring efficient use of resources to minimise equipment downtime.
• Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and diagnose faults accurately across a variety of machinery. Expert in using diagnostic tools and interpreting electrical schematics to swiftly identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• Any Relevant RPLs or VOCs for your current role
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent);
• A valid Working at Heights (or the ability to obtain);
• Current Valid Manual Driver’s License 
• Full Australian Working Rights
