Automotive Service Advisor / Warranty Administrator

About the role

As an Automotive Service Advisor and Warranty Administrator at Castle Hill Mazda, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. Reporting to the Service Manager, this full-time position is based at our Castle Hill, NSW 2154 location.

What you'll be doing

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing guidance on recommended maintenance and repairs for their vehicles

• Process warranty claims and liaise with Mazda to ensure timely resolution of customer issues

• Schedule and coordinate service appointments, while managing customer expectations

• Prepare comprehensive repair estimates and communicate these to customers

• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and service work performed

• Collaborate with the service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry

• Strong automotive product knowledge, with the ability to diagnose and recommend appropriate repairs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers

• Proficient in using automotive service management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to juggle multiple customer requests and service schedules

• A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional service

• Familiarity with warranty claims processing and administration procedures
