Reporting to the Integration and Technical Support Manager, this position is responsible for contributing to the effective design and delivery of solutions to our clients.

What about the role:
Conduct customer needs analysis to support development and design solutions, including technical /room layouts.
Develop a Functional Specification, Bill of Materials, Drawings and Scope of Works that will facilitate the delivery of that solution and conform to security accreditation requirements where applicable.
Develop an appropriate estimate of the level of effort required to enable the delivery of that solution to be reviewed by and agreed with the Solutions Delivery Team.
Produce initial solution delivery Milestones as a guide for the Solutions Delivery Team.
Submit quotes to the Account Manager to ensure the quote can be reviewed and submitted to the customer in a timely manner.
Provide design and technical consultative support to the Business Development Team and external stakeholders as required.
Ensure a timely handover of all documentation (Design, Drawings etc.) to the Solutions Delivery Team to align with the project delivery and updates are provided as required to meet delivery schedules.
Participate in the on-going improvement and configuration of VaaS.
Where qualified, provide support in the commissioning phase of a project.
Where qualified, provide programming support as required including code development and user documentation.
What experience or qualifications do I need:
Experience in the design and delivery of integrated and stand-alone videoconferencing and AV systems, conforming with security accreditation and policies where applicable.
An understanding of ITC Networking and connectivity.
Strong knowledge of VTC environment and protocols (H320-ISDN/H323-IP/SIP etc.); and
AV design skills, including Visio/CAD.
High product knowledge / formal qualifications in approved VTC and AV equipment such as but not limited to: POLYCOM, CISCO, EXTRON, AMX, PANASONIC, SONY and other Vendor equipment as required.
Relevant trade certificate in Telecommunications, Electronics, Audio-Visual, IT and Networking or Multimedia.
Industry technical qualifications for teleconferencing systems and software and AMX and Crestron programming.
