About the role

We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our team at our Broadmeadows bakery. As a Baker, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality bread and pastry products to our customers. This is a full-time permanent role based in our Broadmeadows bakery location in Victoria.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and mixing dough according to recipes and production schedules

• Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofing chambers to produce bread and pastry products

• Monitoring product quality and adjusting recipes or processes as needed

• Packaging and labeling finished products for distribution

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient and effective operations

• Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in baking or a related culinary field

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings and weekends
