Layers Bakery is now looking for a passionate and reliable Baker/Pastry Chef to join our small familial bakery. We are producing a wide range of homemade products including sourdough breads, pastries, cakes, pies...

We are looking for a hospitality professional who is has the following skills and abilities:

• A strong understanding of sourdough baking, mixing and hand moulding

• Experience in baking sourdough loaves in a deck oven

• A good understanding and experience with the fermentation process

• Must have a genuine enthusiasm for baking and creating

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines

This position require a minimum of 3 years as Baker in an artisanal Bakery environment.

5 day working week (Tuesday - Saturday)
