Bar / Floor staff

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bar / Floor staff to join our team at The Tipsy Tomato (new restaurant opening soon) in Redcliffe, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our vibrant restaurant and bar.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee, cocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

• Providing attentive and friendly table service to customers in the cafe and bar area

• Ensuring the bar and dining areas are well-stocked, clean, and well-presented at all times

• Adhering to all applicable health, safety, and licensing regulations

• Assisting with general cafe operations as needed, including food preparation and cash handling

• Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience for all our guests

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar bar or cafe role, preferably within the hospitality industry

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

• Excellent multitasking and time management abilities

• Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and food safety principles

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
