The Business is looking to hire a dedicated barber to consult with clients and ensurethat all their hair-related needs are taken care of. We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time employee for position barber/hairdresser who has had a minimum of 2 years working in the industry. Salary of $73,000 to $75000 + super for this full-time position.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Shampooing and conditioning hair.
- Colouring, straightening, and perming hair with chemical solutions.
- Cutting and styling hair with scissors and trimmers such as skin fade, taper fade, low skin fadeetc.
- Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches.
- Keep up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques, and products and makerecommendations to clients.
- Cleaning work areas and sanitizing all the tools.
- Arranging appointments and collecting payments
Qualifications & experience
- At least 2 years recent experience barbering or hairdressing
- A strong commitment to safety
- A willingness to learn and develop skillets.
- Experience with the latest men’s haircutting and beard styles such as fades and beard sculpting.
- Experience in straight razor shaving and moustache styling.
- Sound oral communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Physically fit and healthy.
- Attention to detail.
- A view to long term employment and career prospects.
