The Business is looking to hire a dedicated barber to consult with clients and ensure that all their hair-related needs are taken care of. We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time employee for TWO positions barber/hairdresser who has had a minimum of 1 years working in the industry. Salary of$73,000 to $75000 + super for this full-time position.

Task & Responsibilities

Task & Responsibilities
Shampooing and conditioning hair.
Colouring, straightening, and perming hair with chemical solutions.
Cutting and styling hair with scissors and trimmers such as skin fade, taper fade, low skin fade etc.
Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches.
Keep up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques, and products and make recommendations to clients.
Cleaning work areas and sanitising all the tools.
Arranging appointments and collecting payments

Qualification & Experience

At least 1 year recent experience barbering or hairdressing
A strong commitment to safety
A willingness to learn and develop skillets.
Experience with the latest men’s hair cutting and beard styles such as fades and beard sculpting.
Experience in straight razor shaving and moustache styling.
Sound oral communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude
Physically fit and healthy.Attention to detail.
A view to long term employment and career prospects.
