Job Description We are expanding ourBehaviour Supportteam and would love to welcome experienced and dynamic Behaviour Support Practitionerseager to be part of a multidisciplinary team and make a difference. You’ll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role. Successful candidates will provide supports to cover NDIS participants living inthe following areas (depending on where you live)Tamworth, Watsons Creek, Upper Manilla, Gunnedah, Wallabadah & surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wider multidisciplinary team who support each other's challenges and wins. No two days are ever the same! You might find us in daycare centres, in schools and homes, and even on outreach trips to Gunnedah and surrounds – we might even bump into you on one of our monthly Wellness Walks down by the river - we love supporting our regional area! You will supportvulnerable members of the community by actingas an advocate and role model. On a daily basis, you will be... Assisting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planningEvaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support spaceDeveloping meaningful goals and practical strategiesutilising a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and communityEnsuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengthsBuilding the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etcWorking collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners As you support many, we support you!
